Cookie Policy
OnionAI Ltd
Last updated
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used on our public website at onionai.app. The OnionAI platform is not open yet and is not covered by this policy.
Cookies and similar technologies we use
| Name | Type and purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| oa_consent | Strictly necessary first-party cookie that records whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics | 12 months |
| oa_did | Optional first-party analytics cookie containing a random identifier used to count distinct visitors | 12 months, or deleted when analytics consent is withdrawn |
| oa_sid | Optional per-tab browser session storage used to group activity into a visit | Until the tab closes, after 30 minutes of inactivity, or when analytics consent is withdrawn |
Optional analytics
Analytics are off until you consent. If you accept, we collect public page views, selected calls to action, and the progress and outcome of contact and waitlist forms. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, message contents, health information or form answers in analytics events.
Amazon Web Services processes this information for us in its Europe (London) region, eu-west-2. Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months. We do not use advertising cookies or allow third parties to track visitors on our website for their own purposes.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting or withdrawing consent immediately stops future collection, discards unsent analytics events, and removes the optional analytics identifiers from your browser. The strictly necessary oa_consent cookie remains so we can remember your choice.
Analytics already received before you withdrew consent remain subject to our 14-month retention period. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.
Other identifiers used by website forms and emails
A campaign source may be read from a link when you submit a form and saved with your enquiry; it is not stored on your device. A contact reference may be shown after a contact message. Emails may contain a unique unsubscribe link code. These are not analytics cookies. Our Privacy Notice explains how the related information is used and retained.
Contact and changes
We update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. Questions can be sent to info@onionai.app.
